This is not just an educational consulting business, this is a statement of conscientious objection in a time of great shift and change for the world. All children and school communities must have access to safe outdoor spaces. They also need to have the tools for learning that make it possible to care and connect with themselves, one another, and the places where they are. As an organization, we are committed to the centering and amplification of culturally responsive nature- and place connection as the path forward for a just, equitable, and diverse sense of belonging and as direct citizen action to confront climate change. In addition, the other beings of nature: animals, plants, fungi, trees, waters, rocks, and soils are asking us to pay attention. One answer is that we must go outdoors to learn to connect. Our business ignites and supports that connection to happen.
